For breastfeeding mothers, Momly develops an elegant, wearable, and reliable breast pump to disrupt the awful breast pumping experience.

Jerome's wife used a breast pump for 21 months. He was shocked by what she had to go through and decided to make things better.

With Anastasia, they embarked on a mission to radically improve mothers’ lives, starting with breastfeeding.

In 5 weeks they were able to capture a 75bps market share with limited means on a small scale. Mothers were willing to pay €79 to acquire the cups and €49/month to rent the pump. More than 40 tests were conducted with more than 30 different mothers. 

Mothers love three things about their solution:

(i) The wearable, elegant design that turns the device in a more attractive object while giving back freedom in daily life, the accesorized pump is effectively conceived as a hand bag;

(ii) The pump technology that gives reassurance their breast is emptied every time, thereby keeping their milk supply up to feed their baby;

(iii) The connected App & service that empowers them with actionnable, customized insights to put all chances on their side to pursue breastfeeding in the best possible conditions by leveraging device parameters, historical sessions data and scientific research.

Momly is a winner of the Mind & Market Louvain-La-Neuve startup competition and MedTech Accelerator in Brussels.
