Bulgarian Industrial Association

BIA is a non-governmental organization of the Bulgarian industry, established in 1980. It has  sectoral and regional organizations. BIA is a member of BusinessEurope – Confederation of the European Business. BIA supports the business community in globalization challenges: competitiveness, environment, resource efficiency, access to finance, development of knowledge-based economy, know-how transfer.

International Economic Relations Center (IERC) in BIA has extensive experience in supporting the internationalisation of SMEs: organizing international meetings, business missions, corporate presentations, seminars, trainings and business forums; marketing studies foreign markets, product and sector studies, market access; innovation support through individual consulting and trainings; access to finance and funding sources for company development. IERC is a co-founder of Innovation Management Academy. Currently we are laying the foundation of the first Business Incubator for Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria in partnership with Sofia Tech Park.

IERC has own website totally devoted on company support in internationalisation and innovation www.ierc.bia-bg.com. This department is the host of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
